Terms of service
The deal, in the order it matters: what you get, what it costs, who owns what, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Who is behind this service
What the service is
Aura is a WordPress plugin and the service that feeds it. The plugin builds page sections from what you describe; the service does the generating and keeps the account. Using either means accepting these terms.
Your account
One account, one organisation, and the keys it issues are yours to look after: anything done with a live key of yours is done as you, and is billed to you. If a key gets out, revoke it from your account — you do not need us for that. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Credits and plans
Work is paid for in credits. A plan grants a number of them each month and they do not carry over; trial credits are granted once and do not expire. A generation that fails costs nothing. Prices are per month and stated without VAT, which is added where it is due. You can change or stop a plan whenever you like; a month already started is not refunded.
What you build is yours
The pages, the text, the markup and the styles Aura writes for you are yours, with no licence back to us and no attribution asked for. They live in your database and they keep working if you stop paying, if you uninstall the plugin, or if this service disappears. The plugin itself stays ours and is licensed to you for as long as you use the service.
What you send us
You keep every right to what you type and to the content of your site. You give us permission to pass it through the service for the one purpose of answering your request. You are responsible for having the right to use what you send — a photograph you do not own does not become yours by being placed on a page.
What a model can and cannot promise
The sections are generated. They can be wrong, ugly, or a worse answer than the one you had in mind, and two identical requests can produce two different pages. Check what it builds before you publish it — especially prices, opening hours, claims about a business and anything a customer might act on. We do not warrant that a generated page is accurate, legal, or fit for a particular purpose.
What you may not do
Resell access to the API, share one key across sites that are not yours, work around the rate limits, or use the service to build anything unlawful. We can suspend an account that is doing one of these, and we will say which one.
Availability
This is early software and there is no uptime guarantee. We do not schedule downtime we could avoid, and generation credits are not consumed by our failures. What we do promise is the thing that matters: an outage here cannot take your published pages down, because they do not depend on us to be drawn.
Changes
These terms and the price list can change. A change that affects what you pay or what you get is emailed to you before it applies, and you can stop your plan if you do not want it. The date at the top of this page says when it last moved.
Ending it
You can stop whenever you like, from your account or by writing to us. We can close an account that breaks these terms or does not pay, after telling you. Either way your pages stay where they are, working, in your WordPress.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, what we owe you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before it. We do not cover lost profit or lost data. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited where you live — and if you are buying as a consumer, your statutory rights are untouched by any of the above.
Which law
Once the operator of this service is declared, this section names the law and the courts that apply.
Free credits every day, no card
Enough for about two complete pages today, and half a page every day after. If it does not convince you, you have spent nothing but an afternoon.
